Today's song of the day goes to Blur - 'The Universal'. This song is such a beautiful piece of music. It's so calming yet exhilarating. The video is genius, it reminds me of a sort of Clockwork Orange style. I'm not sure whether Blur were going for this or not but..it works. It works very well! I suppose my love for Blur has re-kindled since I done a research project on Blur vs Oasis at college. It was really interesting, it's amazing finding out so much background information between relationships of bands just over 1 single in the charts and how...well...it wasn't just that. It was loads of other things. After doing the research I can tell that there were subtle little digs whenever and wherever possible towards eachother. This is funny to me. Bands are just as bitchy to eachother as people are in "real life". Anyway, enough rambling. Enjoy.
