Song of the day 12/02/2012.

Missed yesterdays song of the day, I apologize.
Today's song of the day has to goto The Maccabees. I have such respect for this band, my family and me have supported them right from the beginning of their career;watching them grow and grow. After releasing Given To The Wild, no-one knew what to expect. Everyone knows The Maccabees for "First Love" or "Precious Time" and of course the infamous "Toothpaste Kisses" for every heartfelt 15 year old girl out there. Given To The Wild is a step up for The Maccabees, it's almost an insight to what they want to be, what they've always wanted to do. So I've chosen the closing track from Given To The Wild, 'Grew Up At Midnight'. It's such a beautiful ending to this album and as soon as it's finished it makes you want to go right back to the beginning of the album and listen all over again.
